Mental health advocacy

Removing barriers to improve mental health

We are committed to amplifying the importance of mental health, reducing stigma, and advocating for better mental health care for everyone. By collaborating with patient advocacy groups and our communities, we are proud to raise awareness about mental health while driving impactful educational campaigns and initiatives.

We believe removing barriers to accessing therapies and support is a crucial part of improving the lives of patients, caregivers, and families on their journey towards better mental health. By reducing stigma and improving awareness of mental health disorders and mental illness, we are deepening our efforts to improve mental health.

As part of our ongoing sponsorships and collaborations with leading mental health organizations, we are dedicated to providing meaningful support to those affected. Below, you will find a list of resources designed to offer guidance, information, and assistance to those navigating the challenges of mental health conditions. These resources empower families and foster a deeper understanding of mental health through accessible and impactful tools.

The National Alliance of Mental Illness , NAMI, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI provides advocacy, education, support, and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.

NAMI has a variety of programs and resources for mental health, including the NAMI HelpLine, Cross-Cultural Innovation & Engagement (CCIE) hub, and the Scientific Research Award.

The mission of Rural Minds is to serve as the informed voice for mental health in rural America, and to provide mental health information and resources.

Rural Minds, with Lundbeck support, has created a variety of resources, including the Rural Mental Health Resilience program.

The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) envisions wellness for people living with mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorder). DBSA provides hope, help, support, and education to improve the lives of people who have mood disorders.

Families for Depression Awareness (FFDA) helps families recognize and cope with depression and bipolar disorder to get people well and prevent suicides.

FFDA has developed a number of resources, including videos, action plans, and fact sheets available on its Support for Caregivers page.

Caregiver Action Network

Caregiver Action Network (CAN) is the nation’s leading family caregiver organization. It works to improve the quality of life for tens of millions of family caregivers. These Americans care for loved ones with chronic conditions, disabilities, or diseases. CAN also supports those meeting the living needs of older adults.
