I have a few family members who have been affected by depression which led me to join Lundbeck. This motivates me in helping patients suffering from brain diseases.  Every day my job demands that I am forward-thinking and cross-functional. I need to stay constantly engaged with my colleagues in R&D, medical affairs, new product planning, and business development in finding new opportunities, which are aligned with the Lundbeck corporate strategy. 

By far the proudest moment was being promoted to Global Marketing Director and moving to Denmark, where I spent 3 years at headquarters before moving back to the US. This was a humbling experience because I got to lead a team that was truly cross-cultural which influenced and changed my leadership style.
