Title
Head of Sales
I head the UK Sales team at Lundbeck. I lead a group of brilliant, motivated individuals who are inspired and empowered to do the best they can for patients living with neurological conditions. My job is hugely varied on a day-to-day basis, ranging from working with agencies to develop new sales strategies in different markets, working closely with the National Sales Managers to ensure we have rewarding training and incenitve schemes, to working with market access to develop patient support programmes. Never a dull moment!
I always loved Biology at school and went on to study Anatomy and Biochemisty at university, with the idea of becoming a cancer research scientist. Little did I know that most of that involved mixing one clear liquid with another and reading and recording the results each and every day, which I quickly realised I was not cut out for. So, I looked for a career which would allow me to flourish — something dynamic, challenging and fast paced, where I could work closely with people rather than test tubes, while staying connected to my passion for science.
I am fortunate to work with a group of individuals who truly strive to do their best every day to make a difference for patients.

A big driver for me is innovation. I like being given the freedom to be fully accountable for my function, questioning our processes and operations, ensuring we are doing the best for our people and constantly asking "Can we make this better?" Lundbeck gives me the autonomy to continuously review what we are doing and to create and implement solutions and improvements which enhance our business and environment for our people.
While working as a primary care representative at another company, I witnessed the strong reputation Lundbeck had with clinicians. Lundbeck was seen as an expert in their field and a valuable resource. It was clear to me then that I wanted to be part of an organisation like that, which is why I joined Lundbeck.
Now, 25 years later, as a member of Lundbeck's cross-functional team, I'm proud to continue creating solutions that address challenges in healthcare. Knowing that these solutions help more patients access treatments gives me a profound sense of pride.
The people I work with motivate me. I am fortunate to work with a group of individuals who truly strive to do their best every day to make a difference for patients. They are the type of people who go above and beyond daily. We have a fantastic team who are a lot of fun to work with.
Outside of work, I'm kept busy with my two teenagers who always keep me on my toes! When I'm not with them, I love weight training, walking with my two gorgeous dogs and exploring a variety of amazing foods from around the world with my husband and best friends.
