Who can participate?
MSc students or graduates from all Danish universities and industry can participate. Whether you have done preclinical research, clinical research or e.g. bioinformatics is not important, but your MSc project should be in the broad field of neuroscience. We continuously have several loosely defined PhD projects available within the different Lundbeck departments and we will match candidates with a project in their area of interest and skills. You must be able to start the PhD no later than December 2023.
Why participate?
If you are interested in neuroscience, drug development and science communication this is a great opportunity. You not only have the chance to win a fully funded scholarship for an industrial PhD at Lundbeck, you will also sharpen your scientific communication skills through two 3-hour presentation training sessions with a professional coach. In the first session, you will get the tools to prepare your presentation and learn the basic theories behind a good presentation. Topics include, body language, how to start on a strong note and how to connect and relate to your audience. In the second session, you will have the opportunity to practice and get direct feedback on your Brain Battle presentation from the coach.
