Our involvement with patient, professional and advocacy groups is critical to the meaningful impact we, as a company, can make for patients and their families. Through our engagement with the communities we serve, we better understand the needs of patients and their families, and ultimately apply this understanding towards the development of new therapies and support programs.
We want our commitment to go beyond our patient communities and our laboratories. We want to extend into the classroom, inspiring students to pursue careers in science and medicine, especially in under-served communities where students may lack early exposure to these subject areas.
In these ways, our partnerships build strength in the community as well as within our company.
