Lundbeck Australia currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Commercial Analyst to join our team. With direct report to the Senior Commercial Excellence Analyst.  This is a twelve month contract.

You will have a key role in driving and developing our current CRM/CLM platform to be best in class and accountability for the business analysis through trend analysis and business cases.  Supporting the sales force orders through sample strategy, analysis and processing of all samples through SAP.

 The major responsibilities of the role include:

  • Generate reports to track the effectiveness of the Sales Team by conducing analyses on coverage, frequency and call-rates for key products.
  • Enable the efficient operation of the CRM database, by supporting Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers with an array of administrative requirements (e.g. Coordinate and supervise the third-party vendor on the execution of changes in segmentation and in Territories).
  • Guarantee the continuous evolution of the CRM system, aligning it with the current business dynamics.
  • Responsible of communicating business needs to the vendor and reviewing the right and timely implementation.
  • Facilitate training to the sales teams on new CRM features released (when necessary).
  • Maintain data integrity of the CRM system.
  • Contribute to improving processes within the CRM system to increase sales force effectiveness.
  • Process and analyse all samples orders in our supply portal (SAP).
  • Utilise statistical methodologies to analyse data to identify high/low performance areas, historical trends, exceptions and correlations.
  • Prepare adhoc reports as requested.

The ideal candidate will hold a University degree (or equivalent) in Business/Marketing or related field, with at least 2 years’ experience as an analyst, sales-operation, or SFE roles (Pharmaceutical industry experience is an advantage).  In this role, you will require a strong business acumen with highly developed skills in quantitative analysis, attention to detail as well as a high level of numerical and analytical skills. You will have an advanced level of proficiency working with excel and a high understanding of analytical capabilities.  Experience with salesforce.com or IQVIA is highly preferred. 

You will be a strong communicator who will hold a self-starting attitude with a strong desire of ownership of the role, taking ownership of responsibilities, self-learning/researching.  You will be able to work to tight deadlines and be able to switch between priorities being proactive and creative in terms of improving ways of working.  You will be a team player with a sense of humour.
