November 2014: Kofi Annan and Lundbeck join forces to push depression up the global agenda

The Global Crisis of Depression conference on 25 November in London was opened with a keynote speech by former Secretary General of the UN, Kofi Annan. Over three hundred delegates including key politicians, thought leaders, employers, patient groups from around the world and health care decision makers participated in the conference with the aim of pushing depression up the global health care agenda.

November, 2014: Lundbeck puts depression on the global mental health agenda

On November 25, 2014, Lundbeck is sponsoring a one-day forum along with the Economist Event to examine the burden of depression as well as a variety of national responses to it, bringing in cross-sector stakeholders who are trying to tackle a problem that has become a leading cause of illness.

October, 2014: Lundbeck recognized as world leader for its actions on reducing climate change

Lundbeck is awarded a position at the A List of the CDP Climate Performance Leadership Index 2014.

October, 2014: Celebrating World Mental Health Day

The 23rd World Mental Health Day takes place on October 10, 2014. This year’s theme Living With Schizophrenia emphasizes the continued need for improving the lives of people living with schizophrenia and their caregivers.

June, 2014: Lundbeck presents research programme and perspectives on future treatment opportunities in stroke

The current issue of Nature includes a supplement on stroke sponsored by Lundbeck. Lundbeck presents in a sponsor feature its current research in the field and future treatment perspectives, particularly for acute ischaemic stroke (AIS).

April, 2014: Progress for the future of research

At the Lundbeck headquarters in Valby, Denmark, a national competition among 2000 high school students about creating tomorrow’s new drug for the treatment of brain disease has just concluded, creating a platform for young people to learn about brain diseases and the research and innovation behind their treatments.
