Some commonly asked questions about your Brintellix treatment.

When do I take it?

Please read the patient information leaflet contained within the Brintellix pill packet thoroughly when you begin your treatment. Tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water, once a day, with or without food. Always take Brintellix exactly as your doctor has told you to.

Can I drink alcohol while taking Brintellix?

Combining Brintellix with alcohol is not advisable.

Can I take Brintellix if I am pregnant or breast feeding?

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine. Brintellix should not be used during pregnancy unless the doctor says it is absolutely necessary.

Am I okay to drive while taking Brintellix?

Brintellix has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines. However, as adverse reactions such as dizziness have been reported, caution is advised during such activities when beginning Brintellix treatment or changing the dose.
