Lundbeck’s Patient Advocacy Summit 2017: One voice – together we will make a difference

Lundbeck is proud to host the 4th annual global patient advocacy summit on 28-29 June 2017. The theme is “One voice – together we will make a difference”, and the summit convenes patient organizations and advocacy groups from across the world that are concerned with psychiatric and neurological disorders.

The summit will build on previous years' findings and offers knowledge exchange, a learning platform and an opportunity to hear from experts and share best practices.

The methodology of the summit is based on interaction and participation. It will include plenary sessions and parallel workshops, enabling interactive debate and reflection. The workshops will be structured to let participants focus deeply on the chosen topic and gain further insights.

The summit has three specific objectives:

  • Engaging patient organizations and advocacy groups and strengthening capabilities to become more empowered actors in national and international health policy arenas.
  • Examining opportunities for cooperation with different stakeholders and getting inspiration from best practices.
  • Providing an opportunity to achieve new insights together.

This is a truly collaborative event that will bring together 69 people, representing 36 patient organizations and advocacy groups from 18 different countries and 6 international organizations.
