It has a simple convenient once-daily, no titration dosing regimen regardless of disease stage. Please refer to your local prescribing information for further details. Azilect® inhibits an enzyme called Monoamine Oxidase-B (MAO-B), which breaks down dopamine in the central nervous system. The result of this MAO-B inhibition is an increased level of dopamine in the brain. This significantly reduces the symptoms of Parkinson’s. Azilect® is safe and well-tolerated in both young and elderly Parkinson’s patients. Healthcare professionals |
