We are currently looking for a Controller that supports our Business Area Central that has been created last year. The Business Area Central consists of 8 countries: Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine.

The Finance department is part of the Head Office for the Business Area Central in Germany and works closely together with Group Business Services Krakow, Poland. The position incumbent reports directly to the Finance Director Business Area Central.

Your Job

  • Responsible Controller for Germany, Switzerland and Austria
  • Perform daily, monthly, annually and ad-hoc reporting
  • Key Contact for stakeholder of Business Area Central, Group Business Services and Group Finance in Headquarter within area of responsibility
  • Support of year-end closing activities and annual budget process
  • Coordination and support of external auditor activities within area of responsibility
  • Development and presentation of business cases
  • Optimization of data management with controlling tools and SAP
  • Responsibility for process improvement and optimization projects
  • Backup of Controller for Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine.

Your qualifications

  • Master degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent discipline
  • At least three years of experience as a controller in a multi-country set up of  a marketing and sales organization
  • In-depth experience with SAP
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Eager to drive results
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • High learning agility
  • Fluent in oral and written German and English
  • Works effectively in an international virtual environment
  • Willingness to travel.
