Biostatistician – Biostatistics Department

The Biostatistics Department is part of the Biometric Division, which also includes Global Analytics, Clinical Data Management & Standards and Biometric Programming & Systems. We are 18 Biostatisticians located in Copenhagen. In addition, 3 Biostatisticians are located in Singapore. Together we keep abreast of current practices in drug development, state-of-the-art statistical methodology and participate and contribute actively to scientific communities. In close collaboration with highly skilled professionals in the organization, the Biostatistics Department contributes to the entire drug development process from discovery to market.
You will work on our clinical projects being responsible for giving statistical input to design and planning of clinical studies, writing statistical analysis plans, perform statistical analysis and participate in interpretation of clinical study results in all phases of development. You will participate in preparing publications, which involves exploratory statistical analyses of a diverse range of clinical study data and, where appropriate, research in new statistical methodologies. Other challenges may involve statistical and mathematical modelling for optimisation of clinical research and early drug development.
You will work in close collaboration with fellow Biostatisticians, Clinical Researchers and other Specialists, exerting your expertise in statistical and mathematical methodology in cross-functional settings.
