Lundbeck employees in Denmark are offered the following fringe benefits:
Pension scheme
Lundbeck pays 10% of an employee’s salary into a pension scheme. The employee may add up to 10% more if he/she wishes to do so. Lundbeck offers pension-consultancy services free of charge to all employees. These services are provided by an independent pension broker.
Health insurance
All employees are covered by our health insurance policy, which ensures fast and free treatment at a private hospital. Coverage for spouses/cohabitors and children is also available on favourable terms.
Holidays/vacation
Lundbeck employees have six weeks paid vacation/days off plus paid holidays on December 24 and 31. Additional paid holidays may be granted in connection with various occasions such as moving to a new home or final examinations.
Maternity/paternity leave
Lundbeck offers up to 30 weeks maternity leave with full pay; the last 12 weeks can be taken either as maternity or paternity leave. New fathers are also eligible for two weeks paid paternity leave after the birth of the child.
