Ulf Wiinberg is Chief Executive Officer of Lundbeck from 1 June 2008.

He was previously with U.S. medical corporation Wyeth for 27 years, most recently as President of Wyeth Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada with responsibility for Wyeth’s biopharma activities, and as a member of Wyeth's Corporate Management Committee.

Ulf Wiinberg is a member of the EFPIA board and serves on the Industrial Policy Committee under the Confederation of Danish Industry (Dansk Industris Erhvervspolitiske Udvalg).

Peter Høngaard Andersen, Dr. Med, Cand. Scient, is Executive Vice President of the Research organization. He is responsible for Lundbeck’s research and for delivering new development candidates for clinical development.

Peter Høngaard Andersen joined Lundbeck in 1999 as Director of Biological Research. In November 2003 he was appointed Vice President of Research and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Synaptic Pharmaceuticals (now Lundbeck Research USA, Inc.). He started his career in the pharmaceutical industry with Novo Nordisk A/S where he worked for thirteen years in different positions, the last four of these as a project manager in the metabolic disease area. In 1997 he joined Acadia Pharmaceuticals as Vice President a position he held until he joined Lundbeck.

He is a member of the Scandinavian Society for Psychopharmacology, Research Directors' Group in EFPIA, Collegium Internationale Neuro-Psychopharmacologicum (C.I.N.P.), American Society for Neuroscience and several other international scientific societies. He is reviewer on a number of international journals, and also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of BRIC, Chairman of the Board of Epitherapeutics ApS, member of the Board of Serendex ApS and member of the Committe on Research Policy of LIF.

Peter Høngaard Andersen holds a master’s degree in biochemistry and a doctorate from the University of Copenhagen.

Lars Bang is Executive Vice President, Supply Operations and Engineering at Lundbeck. Lars Bang began his career at Lundbeck in 1988 as Trainee in R&D and was appointed Head of Department of R&D Planning and Economy later that year. He was subsequently appointed Divisional Director for Corporate Planning and Strategy in 1991, Managing Director at Lundbeck España S.A. in 1994, Senior Vice President, Supply Operations and Engineering in 1998, Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations in Europe & Overseas in 2000 and later Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing.

In 2003 he was appointed Executive Vice President and member of the board of Management in charge of Supply Operations, Engineering and IT. Lars Bang is member of the board of Fertin Pharma A/S and DentoFit A/S.

Lars Bang obtained a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 1987 and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from the Copenhagen Business School in 1989.

Anders Götzsche is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Lundbeck. He joined Lundbeck on 1 September 2007. Anders Götzsche is a member of the board of LifeCycle Pharma A/S.

After finishing his education in 1991 he joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Denmark. From 1998 Anders Götzsche was a Sales Manager with the SAS Institute until 2001, after which he became  Director of Group Accounting and Reporting in Group 4  Falck. Finally, before coming to Lundbeck, Anders Götzsche held the post of Chief Financial Officer for the Berlingske Officin from 2005.

Anders Götzsche holds a Master of Science in Accounting from University of Southern Denmark (1991) and he became a state authorized public accountant in 1997.

Anders Gersel Pedersen, M.D., Dr. Med. Sci. and B.Sc. in Business Administration, is Executive Vice President of the Drug Development organization, and is responsible for the development of the product pipeline from pre-clinical activities to post-launch marketing studies.

Following his degree in medicine and research fellow positions at Copenhagen hospitals, Anders Gersel Pedersen worked for Eli Lilly for 11 years: 10 of these as a director overseeing worldwide clinical research in oncology. In January 2000 he joined Lundbeck as Vice President of International Clinical Research. In November 2003 he was appointed Senior Vice President of Drug Development.

He is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology, the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Danish Society of Medical Oncology and the Danish Society of Internal Medicine. Anders Gersel Pedersen also serves on the supervisory boards of TopoTarget A/S, ALK-Abelló A/S and is Vice Chairman in Genmab A/S.

Anders Gersel Pedersen received his medical degree and a doctoral degree in neuro-oncology from the University of Copenhagen and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.

Stig Løkke Pedersen is Executive Vice President Commercial Operations at Lundbeck. Stig Løkke Pedersen joined Lundbeck in 1992. Between 1992 and 2000 he served as, respectively, Director of Business Development, Director of Corporate Affairs, Managing Director of Lundbeck’s subsidiary in the Netherlands, and Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs. In 2000, his position as Senior Vice President was extended to include responsibility for Lundbeck’s commercial operations in Canada, Latin America and Asia. A one-year period as Senior Vice President, Business Development & Portfolio Management, followed 2002-2003.

In 2003 Stig Løkke Pedersen was appointed member of the board of Management and Executive Vice President in charge of commercial operations outside Europe and Corporate Affairs. He was appointed to his present position as Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations  in October 2005. Stig Løkke Pedersen’s early career includes positions with Dansk Shell A/S (1985-86) and Ciba-Geigy in Denmark and Switzerland (1986-1991).

He holds a Master of Science degree in Economics, obtained in 1985 from the University of Aalborg, Denmark. Stig Løkke Pedersen is Chairman of the Board of Nuevolution A/S and ChemoMetec A/S.
