Anders Gersel Pedersen, M.D., Dr. MSc., HD (org.), is Executive Vice President of the Drug Development organization, and is responsible for the development of the product pipeline from pre-clinical activities to post-launch marketing studies.
Following his degree in medicine and research fellow positions at Copenhagen hospitals, Anders Gersel Pedersen worked for Eli Lilly for 11 years: 10 of these as a director overseeing worldwide clinical research in oncology. In January 2000 he joined Lundbeck as Vice President of International Clinical Research. In November 2003 he was appointed Senior Vice President of Drug Development.
He is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology, the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Danish Society of Medical Oncology and the Danish Society of Internal Medicine and serves on the supervisory boards of TopoTarget A/S, ALK-Abelló A/S and Genmab A/S.
Anders Gersel Pedersen was born in September 1951. He received his medical degree and a doctoral degree in neuro-oncology from the University of Copenhagen and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School. |
